It's way cheaper, not having 3 action points isn't a problem, you have acess to the buffs. Most of the time taking a simple indentured would be better. (you can't give them the colar to make them indentured) Because of that any other faction sniper is waaaaaaay better for the syndicate, a simple overseer with them create one of the strongest combination in the game. This is terrible for this faction, because your must powerfull buffs won't work on them. The other snipers have some abilities making them dangerous even if they don't have all their action points, but not them (just a very basic shot). They need 3 action points to realy shoot, so any weapon which stagger make them useless. Probably the most versatile unit in the game.įor the worst unit, if you exclude all the water units, I would say the syndicate snipers. And they are good from the start to the end, because overwatch will be realy strong at the start (when there is few long range stager capabilities) and for the mid and late game their dommage type make them realy strong against vehicules (which represent 50% or more of the high tier units).Īnd even if you don't want to spam them, a few mods and buffs (unkillable for a turn, resurection.) create a killing machine which is completly expendable. It's the cheapest unit in the game, if you have enough cities to produce them nothing stop you. For the best unit, I would say the syndicate indentured.
